AA Meetings Atlanta: Big Book Groups for a Foundation in the Program
If you want some framework for your AA group, then it may be a good idea to visit Big Book meetings. At these sessions, you’ll dig deep into the literature of the Alcoholics Anonymous program and talk about the forward progress on your steps.
Big Book meetings are similar to step meetings but with a heavier emphasis on reading from the text. Afterward, there may be time to discuss matters pertaining to literature that you just read and where you might be in your walk away from a drinking problem.

A Sample of Top Step Meetings and Schedules
When it comes to the Alcoholics Anonymous program, the first thing that comes to mind for many is their signature framework of working the steps. It’s a proven way to stop drinking and to hold people accountable for their decisions. The group acts as a safe space for you to work through sober living.
While not everyone will be on the same step at the same time, this is a great way to dig deeper into your current situation and learn from those both ahead of and behind you. The Twelve Steps are fluid which means you may find yourself moving back and forth as you maintain sober living, whether following alcohol and drug rehab programs in Atlanta or when working the Steps again after many years sober.
